Information for small landholders
Livestock Health and Pest Authorities realise that many landholders do not run large farming enterprises.
Many LHPAs regularly run field days, information sessions and landholder programs for both established producers and new ratepayers.
In past years, field days have been run in some areas which have a high concentration of small landholders or 'hobby farmers'. Examples of topics local Livestock Health and Pest Authorities have offered include:
- protecting your rural asset
- control those pests
- everything to do with water
- native vegetation
- intro to goats
To see what is on offer in your region, or to make a suggestion, contact your local LHPA.
